We are looking for a skilled and experienced Adobe Commerce Developer to join our team. As an Adobe Commerce Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust e-commerce solutions using the Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and project managers, to create exceptional online shopping experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in Adobe Commerce and a passion for delivering scalable and high-performing e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and system designs.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce modules, extensions, themes, and integrations to meet project requirements.
  • Optimize and enhance the performance, scalability, and security of Adobe Commerce websites through efficient coding and caching strategies.
  • Integrate third-party systems and services, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP systems, with Adobe Commerce.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Adobe Commerce-related issues, working closely with support teams and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Adobe Commerce features, upgrades, patches, and security enhancements, and recommend their implementation.
  • Continuously optimize and improve e-commerce processes and workflows to enhance user experience and drive conversion rates.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Document technical specifications, system architecture, and deployment processes to facilitate maintenance and future enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience as an Adobe Commerce Developer, working on e-commerce projects from conception to delivery.
  • Proficient in PHP and MySQL, with a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (jQuery, React).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce, including custom module development, extension customization, and theming.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce concepts and best practices, including catalog management, order processing, and payment integration.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Commerce APIs, web services, and XML-RPC protocols.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques, including caching mechanisms, database query optimization, and server-side optimizations.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutions.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
