The Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation and achievement to the people we support. For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.

We are searching for an Administrator of Legal Affairs to join the office of CFDS General Counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of all contracts related to Center business, which includes having an understanding of what is required, securing content changes and ensuring all proper review has occurred. Significant amount of contract review expected.
  • Responsible for handling all legal correspondence from the office of CFDS General Counsel.
  • Perform legal research as needed.
  • Handles all Legal Project work as assigned
  • Maintains CFDS Contract and legal files.
  • Drafts various legal documents for the office of CFDS General Counsel.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in field of Business or Legal Studies
  • Specialized training, license, certification, skills: Paralegal certificate preferred
  • At least 5 year(s) of related experience

Compensation Range:

$60,223.74 - $86,088.79

Skills Required

  • Associates degree in Business or Legal Studies
  • Paralegal certificate
  • At least 5 years of related experience, specifically in letting and notary
