What you bring to SBHG: 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Required). 

  • Master’s degree in a Mental Health field (Preferred). 

Experience: 

  • Three (3) years of experience in a Senior Manager role, such as Program Director, Center Director, or Executive Director (Required). 

  • Professional experience working with mentally ill children, adolescents, and/or adults (Required). 

  • Executive or Senior Leadership experience (Preferred). 

Licensure & Certification: 

  • Valid California Driver’s License (Required). 

  • Current California licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psy.D./Ph.D. Psychologist (Preferred). 

 

How you will make a difference (job overview): 

The Administrator manages the overall day-to-day operation of designated Community Services programs and their respective facilities, assuring compliance with Federal, State, County and local laws and regulations. He/she oversees facilities, and Directors who directly manage these programs or provides direct management in their absence. He/she assures that there are comprehensive quality treatment programs and services for all clients and reviews and approves all policies and procedures of the program. The Administrator represents Star View and their programs to governmental agencies, the Board of Directors, and the community. The Administrator assures the program is operated with fidelity to the evidence based practices including Wraparound, PCIT, TFCBT, MAT and others. He/she assists the Regional Administrator in development of new programs in Southern California

Division/Program Overview:  

  • Community-Based and Family Centered programs. 

  • TEAMMATES offers Wraparound, Intensive Field Capable Clinical Services (IFCCS) and IFCCS Outreach Triage Team and Child Outreach Triage Team services that cover a full range of treatment and support. 

  • 24 hours of referral receipt, and services are delivered countywide by the same team 

  • 24-hour Crisis Intervention 

  • SED Children and Adolescent driven program.  

  • Client and Family driven program with mutually agreed by service provider and family.  

  • Contract with DMH and Child Protected Services and Probation.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or equivalent related field
  • Master's degree in a Mental Health Field
  • Licensed as MFCC, LCSW, Ph.D. Psychologist, LMFT, LPCC, or Psy.D.
  • Three (3) years' experience in a Senior Manager position (e.g., Program Director, Center Director, Executive Director)
  • Senior leadership experience
  • Experience with mentally ill children, adolescents and/or adults
  • Valid California Driver's License
