Job DescriptionThe Systems Administrator is responsible for performing a hands-on role that requires a full understanding of the below.
Installation, configuration, patching and upgrade of Linux/AIX operating Systems.
Proactively maintain and develop all Linux/AIX infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7 uptime service.
Install, configure, administer and monitor Red Hat OpenShift clusters on-premises and in cloud.
Support and troubleshooting of IBM Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integration platform and resolution of associated incidents.
Create, secure, and manage virtualized environments with VMware and IBM Hypervisor.
Support, maintain and administer core Dell/IBM infrastructures like servers, storages and SAN switches.
Install, configure and administer IBM API Connect infrastructure subsystems like the portal, management, and analytics.
Plan, coordinate and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, storages, SAN switches.
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
Installation and upgrade of security, backup, application and monitoring agents on all Linux/AIX servers in collaboration with respective teams in IT.
The Enterprise System Administrator carries out responsibilities in management, infrastructure design and layout, Disaster Recovery design and implementation etc.
