Job Title- Senior Engineer - Maintenance & Reliability.

Description- Conduct maintenance process audits on Nabors’ rigs globally in line with the Company’s Maintenance Audit Standard. Perform inspections of equipment and verify quality of maintenance activities and integrity of equipment. Lead the development of procedures, standards, and work instructions related to maintenance processes including spare parts, tools, and readings required for maintenance tasks. Develop proactive maintenance programs to optimize equipment lifecycle and cost efficiency. Act as Subject Matter Expert on Computerized Maintenance Management System (MMS). Identify process and standard deviations and facilitate corrective actions and preventive strategies. Analyze equipment breakdowns and perform root cause analysis as part of ongoing maintenance improvement programs and equipment integrity. Troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions and recommend/implement corrective action. Apply engineering principles to drive continuous improvement of maintenance processes, standards, and procedures. Ensure maintenance engineers and rig operators have access to standardized procedures and work instructions to facilitate safe and optimal rig operations. Review downtime data and reports to identify potential efficiencies and cost drivers. Assess technical competency of operational personnel on Maintenance execution and MMS. Develop and deliver training on Nabors Maintenance Management system and processes to ensure employees utilize full functionality. Assist Training Department in identifying areas for improvement and collaborate in the provision of technical training. Ensure all maintenance related activities are delivered in compliance with applicable industry and regulatory codes and standards as well as Nabors’ quality assurance requirements. Develop, implement, and review maintenance KPIs and communicate results with Rig and Operational Managers to drive safety, operational efficiency, cost control, and regulatory compliance. Capture and document lessons learned from rigs audits and ensure results are shared across the Rig Fleet.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Senior Engineer Maintenance & Reliability-related occupation.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; foreign equivalents accepted.
