Oversee safe, compliant operation of remote Alaska camp facilities supporting drilling and field operations. Manage camp personnel, accommodations, catering, housekeeping, maintenance, logistics coordination, contractor performance, HSE compliance, inspections, emergency response, inventories, budgeting, and reporting. Serve as primary contact with Operations, HSE, Supply Chain, and vendors to ensure efficient living environments and workforce readiness.

Perform manual labor and assist drilling operations on the rig floor: handle pipe and collars, operate hoists and tongs, maintain and repair equipment, clean and service rig components, follow safety procedures, report hazards and incidents, participate in pre-task meetings, and train new floorhands under the Driller's supervision.

Operate and maintain the mud system (sack area, mud pumps, pits, shakers); perform preventive maintenance and repairs; monitor and test mud properties; assist driller with tripping operations; supervise floorhand tasks; perform heavy lifting and high‑work tasks while following safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Operate computerized mud-logging units onshore and offshore, analyze cuttings and chromatography for lithology and hydrocarbon shows, monitor rig and downhole conditions for hazards, generate daily logs/reports, maintain sample archives and equipment calibrations, and communicate findings to clients and rig management.

Perform manual labor on an offshore drilling rig: assist crane operator with loading/offloading, perform housekeeping, assist derrickhand, perform simple plumbing repairs, relieve floorhand when trained, follow safety procedures, lift and move heavy equipment, and work 14/14 rotations in confined quarters.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on generators, engines, compressors, pumps and related rig mechanical equipment. Maintain and control electronic and physical quality and product documentation, compile and format product manuals and data books, support ISO/API quality systems, enter and report quality data, and coordinate documentation across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to meet customer and project requirements.

Operate and monitor drilling rig equipment, oversee rig up/rig down, ensure crew safety and housekeeping, adjust pumps and drilling parameters, train crew, troubleshoot, and follow established drilling plans under Rig Manager supervision.
