About the role

As Administrative Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Asia Hub's day-to-day operations by providing high-quality administrative and financial support. You will ensure the smooth coordination of processes, systems, and documentation, and delivery of operational activities and events, contributing to the Hub's overall effectiveness and success.

In this role, you will maintain accurate records, administrative systems and databases, and support financial administration, including purchasing, invoicing, expenditure monitoring, and financial acquittals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional who enjoys improving processes, building strong working relationships and making a meaningful contribution to a dynamic and purpose-driven team.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative support, including coordinating processes, managing documentation, and supporting operational activities.

  • Experience in financial administration, including processing invoices and payments, tracking expenditure, and supporting budgeting or acquittals.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage records and ensure accuracy in a compliance-driven environment.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

  • Experience using enterprise systems and digital platforms (e.g. financial systems, SharePoint or similar), with the ability to maintain data accuracy and support system processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to improving administrative processes and systems.

  • Interest in, or understanding of, the Asia-Pacific region is desirable.
