Within BlackRock Equity Private Markets, BlackRock Real Estate Equity seeks to help clients access private real estate that could help meet their investment goals by providing a distinct range of well defined, outcome orientated strategies, along the investment risk-return spectrum.
BlackRock Real Estate Equity, with AUM of $~18bn, manages over 500 properties across multiple sectors through Closed-end Value-add funds, Open-end Core Funds and via Separately Managed Accounts (“SMA’s”). The Real Estate business operates across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America with a team of over 160 professionals in 16 offices across 12 countries.
Your role and impact
The Administrative Business Partner will provide high-touch, proactive support to multiple Managing Directors and Directors responsible for the US Real Estate Equity Business.
The US RE business currently manages AUM of $9.3bn including through its $3.3bn Open-end Core Fund funds and Separately Accounts (“SMA’s”) with key clients including CalSTRS (the highest value SMA managed by BlackRock globally at USD ~5bn). The business has team of 31 professionals in five offices managing ~100 properties in multiple sectors. This role requires a highly organized, solutions-oriented professional who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and manage complex administrative needs with sound judgment, discretion, and minimal direction.
The ideal candidate anticipates needs, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and helps senior leaders operate efficiently across complex calendars, travel, meetings, local event coordination, team activities, and broader business demands. Success in this role requires strong communication, excellent follow-through, and the ability to build trusted relationships across senior stakeholders, internal teams, administrative peers, and external partners. Flexibility to support early morning business needs is beneficial.
Your responsibilities

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:
Manage complex executive calendars and coordinate meetings, events, and business engagements, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring seamless execution.
Coordinate global travel, prepare itineraries and supporting materials, and manage expense-related processes in accordance with firm policies.
Drive follow-through on action items, requests, and deliverables while facilitating effective communication across stakeholders.
Build strong partnerships across executives, teams, and administrative colleagues while contributing to team effectiveness through collaboration and coverage support.
Use technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, streamline
processes, and support business communications and materials.
Your experience
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
Note: Typical work hours are approximately 8:00-9:00am AM to 4:30-5:30 PM, with flexibility based on business needs.
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$76,000.00 - USD$145,000.00 which is the equivalent of USD$36.54 - USD$69.71 per hour. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
