The School of Public Health is seeking an exceptionally organized, punctual, and reliable Part-Time Administrative Associate. This role provides essential day-to-day support for departmental operations, including processing invoices and tracking job postings. Because this position is part time, consistent in person attendance and adherence to the scheduled work hours are critical to success.
ResponsibilitiesCreates purchase requisitions, monitors through approvals, updates when needed.
Processes and tracks invoices and check requests for payment.
Posts Vacant Positions externally, monitors the activity and responses.
Enters graduate assistant contracts, monitors through approvals, updates when needed.
Attends HR Partners and Focus on Finance meetings.
Assists with administrative tasks as needed.
Provides other financial support to the Business Officer as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to accurately analyze information, situations, and procedures and respond appropriately.
Experience in writing business correspondence.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, university officials, and vendors in a diverse university setting.
Qualifications
High School Diploma and one (1) to three (3) years of appropriate experience preferably within a higher education setting.
