The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking an enthusiastic, high energy and talented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant for the Greater Waco YMCA with exceptional interpersonal, human relations and customer service skills.
Under the direction of the Executive Director of the YMCA of Greater Waco, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for the successful implementation/completion of the following tasks:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare for Board Meetings by putting board packets together, calendar invites, TEAMS meetings and room set up
- Maintain accurate contact information for Board Members
- Assist with Board Member engagement
- Track Baylor Work Study Program hours and invoices
- Ensure offices supplies are ordered and stocked
- Perform general hiring duties including scheduling New Hire appointments, review new hire packet with candidates, helping candidates register for NHO and CPR, ensuring Drug Tests are completed and turned in, ensuring I-9 forms are completed and verified and turning in all documents to HR in a timely manner
- Assist with the financial development of the Association
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred
- HR Experience preferred
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Effective time management skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Seasoned administration and broad line customer service experience including organizational skills, systems management, fiscal control and image development
- Applicants will be required to pass reference checks, a criminal history background check, sex offender check, and pre-employment drug screen.
Pay Rate: $18 to $22/hour DOE
