Job DescriptionRESPEC is seeking a temporary part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Saskatoon. This position works on-site.
This position supports the daily operations of RESPEC’s Saskatoon office and helps maintain a smooth, organized, and welcoming environment. The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support across office operations, front desk coordination, scheduling, event support, and document and expense management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a professional setting. This role also supports office coordination, assists with vendor and project needs, and helps ensure the office runs efficiently day‑to‑day.
This is a part‑time position (approximately 20 hours per week) offered as a one‑year contract, with the potential for ongoing employment based on operational requirements and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Office Administration & Front Desk — Answer and direct calls, greet visitors, support office access, and provide general administrative support locally and remotely
Mail, Delivery & Banking — Manage incoming/outgoing mail, courier packages, invoice scanning, and occasional banking tasks
Expense & Document Management — Support expense claim processing, maintain records, and handle filing, scanning, and shredding
Office Supplies & Inventory — Monitor and restock supplies, coordinate orders, and maintain organized inventory
Scheduling & Coordination — Assist with calendars, meeting coordination, and logistics using Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Event & Office Coordination — Help plan and support office events, team meetings, client gatherings, and seasonal celebrations
Office Operations & Projects — Support office moves, vendor coordination, and general office upkeep; provide additional administrative support as needed
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel

Minimum 2 years of administrative or office experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)

Compensation: Hourly wage depends on experience. No benefits are offered except those that are required for statutory purposes.
