We are looking for enthusiastic individuals responsible for providing exceptional customer service and professional administrative support to our Client Services Department in Edmonton.
Your Administrative Assistant responsibilities:
- Monitoring of tasks received on closed claims to determine priority and action required.
- Managing systems for absence planning and work distribution for claim teams to ensure adequate coverage during absences.
- Coordinating claim related travel as requested by claim teams and communicating arrangements with workers.
- Assisting case management and adjudication teams by gathering information (earnings and medical documentation) and communicating with service providers and employers to obtain this information.
- Promoting process improvements, participate in team meetings, functions and other activities occurring both in office and virtually.
Your experience and skills:
- High school diploma supplemented with two years related experience.
- Certificate or diploma in Office Administration would be an asset.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Reliability and time management are integral to success in this position.
- Must be skilled at proofreading and preparing various types of correspondence in a timely, accurate manner.
- Excellent organizational skills along with the ability to work well independently with interruptions.
- Equivalencies may also be considered.

Salary: $48,332 to $53,695 per annum (Pay Grade 5)
This position is temporary for a period of up to six months with the possibility of extension. Final candidates for this position are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment. Successful candidate must reside in Alberta and be able to work in person in our Edmonton downtown office as required by their position.
