Our client, an established mid-sized Indianapolis law firm on the north side of Indianapolis, has an immediate need for a full-time on-site experienced Administrative Assistant. This position will require excellent organization, time management, and verbal and written communication skills. 
  
Responsibilities include scheduling, calendaring, filing, e-filing with courts, and drafting documents. This person will have direct contact and some phone work with clients, processing of outside vendor bills, and researching public databases for pending legal matters.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school degree is required; bachelor's degree, associate's degree, or equivalent is preferred, ideal for law students pursuing their degree part-time. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word required: Excel and Adobe PDF preferred 
  • Three years of previous office management experience 
  • Prior legal or civil litigation experience preferred, but not essential 
  • Superb communication skills
