The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their growing Advanced RF program in Melbourne, FL. The Administrative Assistant will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team, and play a critical role in the support and day-to-day operations of the office. This position supports our Operations and Engineering team in administrative tasking as outlined below:
Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day operations of the office.
Arranges travel for employees.
Serves as office receptionist.
Escorts contractors and other visitors as needed.
Orders and tracks deliveries of office supplies.
Initiates orders in support of operations and engineering as needed.
Provides conference administrative support.
Manages conference room scheduling and set-up.
Supports the development of travel authorizations and expense reports.
Serves as primary point of contact for special events.
Physically coordinates special events set-ups, logistical support services, and catering.
Assists facilities with building operations.
Manages shredding service.
Performs duties while maintaining confidentiality when needed and demonstrating professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
Drafts and edits documents, including formatting, technical editing, and content using experience and attention to detail.
Fields incoming calls and other correspondence, responding accordingly.
Prepares, duplicates, binds, and distributes materials for meetings and other activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement.
High School Diploma or GED.
3 + years’ administrative experience.
3+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Office software.
Desired:
Secret security clearance.
Associate or bachelor’s degree.
Strong writing, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Experience working for a defense contractor.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
