IEM is looking for a Full Time - Administrative Assistant that is comfortable with using a computer in an office environment for a general administrative role assisting the IEM team.
Primary Location:
- Live anywhere that meets personal office / at home work requirements in the United States including Puerto Rico.
- Work from a personal office / at home location.
- Preferred candidates will live within a commutable distance to Port Richey, FL.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate all aspects of office administration, including administrative support including but not limited to:
- telephone support
- creation of general correspondence
- typing
- filing
- mailing
- scheduling
- making copies
- sending mail including UPS & FedEx
- scanning
- other administrative duties
- Pull documentations needed for contract requirements
- Data entry for invoicing assist with reviewing of reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in office management/administration, preferably with a public agency or assisting grant programs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experienced, energetic, highly motivated, self-motivated, dependable person
- Must be comfortable in fast paced environment Written and Verbal communication skills
- The ideal candidate is extremely comfortable with administrative computer usage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of federally funded grant programs such as CDBG/CDBG-DR and FEMA HMGP
- Knowledge of various database and program management tools such as SmartSheet, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite products
