Title: Administrative Assistant

Hours: 8 Hour Shift, Full-Time/Part-Time 

Wage: $17.50 - $20.00 an hour

Your day as a Administrative Assistant: WestHaven Senior Living
  • Prepares critical written communications such as Incident Reports, filing of licensing applications, formal business letters, etc. for review by the Executive Director or his/her designate.
  • Confirms appointments in advance for supervisory staff, residents, and service providers.
  • Handles incoming phone calls from prospective residents, vendors, resident family members, and others in a professional and courteous manner. Takes first responsibility for proper routing of calls and inquiries.  
  • The Administrative assistant is responsible for the efficient operation and ordering related to all administrative systems, office equipment, building supplies, and supply of resident consumables.
  • Maintains accurate record keeping systems, including digital electronic archives, for residents, personnel, vendors, financials, etc.
  • Completes office equipment maintenance in house that is practical.

  • Be organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrate good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive resident, employee, and business information. 
  • The Administrative Assistant should be comfortable using computers and common office technology to support the daily operations of WestHaven Senior Living.
