We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with excellent administrative skills to provide support to our various program areas. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and interpersonal skills in a similar setting are essential in this role.
Your Administrative Assistant responsibilities:

Providing administrative support within a team setting.

Providing quality medical processing services in the form of medical letters, memos, and reports. This also includes compiling and managing a variety of reports.

Updating, monitoring, billing and disseminating information related to service activity on the service delivery and scheduling system, as well as other manual tracking processes.

Assemble and maintain client records to ensure accreditation standards are met.

Interact effectively with team members, physicians, clients, and staff.

Providing support to team members, clients and leadership through a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to: scheduling meetings, managing attendance records and scheduling client services.
Your experience and skills:
-
High school diploma supplemented with medical terminology courses and/or secretarial courses in word processing. Preference will be given to individuals with related post- secondary training.

Related office experience in a similar environment. Experience working with the medical or vocational profession is beneficial.

Knowledge of Microsoft is required.

Previous experience in providing excellent customer service.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Able to work 7.25 hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the occasional shift change.

The ability to accommodate multiple priorities while accurately completing tasks is imperative.

Salary: $46,924 to $52,131 per annum (Pay Grade 5)
This position is temporary for a period of up to one year with the possibility of extension or permanency. Final candidates for this position are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment. Successful candidate must reside in Alberta and be able to work in person in our Edmonton (Millard Health) office as required by their position.
