WinnCompanies is searching for an organized and agile Administrative Assistant to join our team at Plymouth Square Village, a 280-unit affordable housing community located in Detroit, MI.


In this role, you will act as first point of contact at this property. Your primary responsibility is to provide a great customer service to our residents, clients, and others through the telephone, face-to-face reception, mail, and messages.


Please note that the schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide office support, including: answer telephone, maintain files, order office supplies, handle incoming & outgoing mail, and overnight shipping.
  • Assist department operations, including: create department check requests, file paid invoices, prepare organizational charts and presentations, book meetings, and set up conference rooms.
  • Listen to resident complaints, log, and send to appropriate contacts.
  • Greet guest and guide them to appropriate colleagues.
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex verbal information in English to stakeholders.
  • Excellent recordkeeping skills.
