About the Position
The Legal Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and legal support to a team of multiple attorneys. This individual will track legal matters, manage documentation, and proactively complete assigned projects to support departmental objectives.
Position Responsibilities
- Track deadlines and important dates related to insurance, contracts, invoices, and legal matters.
- Maintain critical files and documents with accuracy and organization.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing project and vendor contracts and agreements.
- Gather information and conduct research on projects, claims, and other legal matters for the department.
- Interact professionally with all levels of management, staff, customers, and business partners as needed.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a legal administrative position required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to plan, implement, and manage multiple projects while adjusting to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
