Job Description
Join our elite team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as an Admin Assistant III in Bridgewater! You'll be a key player in our packaging facility, managing material transfers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the product label process from request to production usage.
- Prepare production batch record documentation.
- Perform label and bulk reconciliation.
- Conduct GDP reviews on completed production documents.
- Complete material transfers in the IMPACCT inventory system.
- Change work order status in PRMS.
- Receive purchase orders in PRMS.
- Issue materials in PRMS to work orders.
- Review and close work orders, issue components, and last of bulk in PRMS.
- Resolve discrepancies with Finance weekly or as needed.
- Build releases of DRs for NDC, SMV, AFFY, and Export. Verify all coded information (Product Description, Lot Numbers, Exp Date, Product Number) on the Job Card, product, and Product label are accurate.
- Communicate with internal customers regarding documentation, shipping schedules, and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain invoicing and record-keeping for accurate financial documentation.
- Advance identified production issues to area management.
- Collaborate effectively with all teams in BPF and Distribution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PC literate with a working knowledge of Databases, Access, Word, Outlook, and Excel. AS400 is a plus.
- Effective communication skills across different organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with GLP and GDP is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills for efficient daily task completion.
- Quick learner in balancing and inventory control practices and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of production or production support experience.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PRMS.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
