Position Summary 

The Administrative Assistant III provides advanced administrative and operational support to Strategic Comp employees and internal business partners. This role serves as a key member of the Internal Operations team, helping ensure efficient day-to-day operations through coordination of meetings and events, onboarding activities, system access administration, organizational maintenance, and responsive support to internal customers. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will work to support organizational effectiveness and deliver a positive employee experience. Great American’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in-office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities 

Administrative Support 

  • Provide administrative support to Strategic Comp leaders and functional departments. 

  • Coordinate meetings, interviews, and other business events, including scheduling, logistics, and communications. 

  • Route and track incoming requests, inquiries, and correspondence to appropriate individuals or teams. 

  • Respond to inquiries from employees and internal business partners in a professional and timely manner. 

  • Deliver exceptional service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Employee Onboarding and Internal Operations Support 

  • Coordinate scheduling and administrative activities associated with interviewing, onboarding, and employee transitions. 

  • Submit, track, and manage system access provisioning requests and related administrative activities. 

  • Support equipment ordering, distribution, and related onboarding logistics as needed. 

Organizational and Business Support 

  • Maintain and regularly update organizational charts, distribution lists, and department information. 

  • Support internal communications initiatives and department-wide announcements. 

  • Coordinate special projects and process improvement activities as assigned. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, documentation, and customer service experiences. 

 

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred. 

  • Minimum of six years of administrative, operational support, or related business experience. 

  • Experience supporting multiple leaders, departments, or business functions preferred. 

  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, onboarding activities, or administrative workflows preferred. 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service. 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize various business systems and workflow tools. 

  • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and continuous improvement mindset.
