Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant (AA) is responsible for providing administrative support to the department/team under general supervision. The AA works with all levels of the organization. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, coordinating calendars and travel for leaders, creating/maintaining documents and files, entering data and running reports.
Essential Functions:
- Replies to incoming requests and creates and/or coordinates outgoing communications.
(20%) - Schedules meetings, arranges travel and special event activities. (20%)
- Prepares presentations and documents for leaders on team. (20%)
- Orders and maintains supplies and equipment for the team. Prepares purchase orders and payment requests. (15%)
- Creates and maintains department files. (10%)
- Collects and maintains data and creates reports as needed. (15%)
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of related experience, which includes one year of the same type required.
Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Communicates effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively perform under tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Easily adapt to change
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
