Summary:   Provide proficient and administrative and operational support to Credit Administration by adeptly maintaining high levels of organization with thre ability to work on and prioritize a wide variety of responsibilities.  This role serves as a key liaison between lending staff, Credit Administration, and other bank departments to ensure efficient and compliant loan administration procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist with loan clerk duties for senior lending officers.
  • Work closely with and support the Credit Administration Officer in their roles, responsibilities, and oversight within the lending function of the bank.
  • Collect and submit reports and other data for bank audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Organize and maintain confidential bank records and files.
  • Assist with organization and distribution loan packet submissions for Senior Loan REview (SLR) and Executive Laon Committee (ELC) on a weekly basis.
  • Document and distibute all approved loan requests from SLR/Credit Administration..
  • Process, balance, and maintain files for recovery on charged off accounts. Submit charged off accounts to collections or legal counsel for recovery efforts. Document and track judgments.
  • Research and monitor customer bankruptcy filings and related court documentation.
  • Process and submit records for special credits relating to bank's security position and/or provide legal counsel with necessary documentation.
  • Establish and maintain reports and records associated with Credit Administration activities.
  • Learn to independently ideentify duties and initiate tasks by effectively managing time and priorities.

 


Qualifications

Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are respresentative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Previous banking, lending, loan operations, collections, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience working with financial records, loan documentation, or legal documetntation is beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage muptiple priorites and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledgge of banking, and lending terminolgy preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, indluding Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work independelty and as part of a team.

 

 


Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, technical, and government regulatory materials.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
  • Ability to sit regularly, use hands, reach, talk, and hear; lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds occasionally.
