This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in insurance industry. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support, enabling EML to pro-actively manage personal injury claims effectively within the relevant jurisdiction as required.
This is a permanent, full time position based in our Canberra office. You will have the opportunity to work-from-home 3 days per week, once you are fully trained in the role.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support to claims teams to "help people get their lives back".
- Contact providers and customers via phone for clarification and follow up of information in relation to reports, payment details, invoices, cheques, overpayments, recovery payments.
- Review duplicate claims, duplicate payments, unpresented cheques and create and update vendors.
- Maintain claim file notes by entering actions undertaken into the claims system, as directed.
- Provide additional assistance within the team and business unit to support the achievement of team goals as requested by Team Leader, Manager or Senior Manager.
- Effectively meeting customer needs, building productive customer relationships and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction.
- Arrange and coordinate appointments, including travel and accommodation as needed for Injured Workers.
- Managing phone enquiries, taking new claim lodgements and taking messages as required.
