Responsibilities
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    1. Assist with the processing and submission of new business applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate before it moves to underwriting. Follow up on outstanding requirements from underwriting, tracking each request through to resolution. Liaise with clients and advisers to gather any missing information needed to progress applications. Keep clients and advisers informed on application status, next steps, and expected timeframes. Maintain clear records of all application activity and communications for audit and compliance purposes.
    2. Paraplanning (Training provided) We will train you to prepare advice reports (Statements of Advice) for our advisers. This covers:
  • Personal risk insurance: life, trauma, total and permanent disablement (TPD), income protection, and health insurance.
  • Basic KiwiSaver planning and reporting.
  • Preparing product research and quote comparisons across New Zealand insurance and KiwiSaver providers.
  • Building reports from the adviser's meeting notes and fact find, to clients' documented standard.
  • Checking files for completeness and flagging any gaps or inconsistencies to the adviser before a report is finalise.

Requirements
    Essential:
  • Strong English communication skills
  • particularly written/email communication, as the bulk of client interaction is via email.
  • Ability to handle client communications professionally, including managing difficult or angry client interactions.
  • Strong initiative and good judgement
  • the role is largely reactive and requires someone who can take ownership and follow through without constant direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple follow-ups and outstanding items simultaneously. Preferred (Not Mandatory):
  • New Zealand insurance experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Trail or XPlan-style CRM systems is a plus (the business uses a custom CRM modeled on these systems).
  • Background in customer service or general administration is acceptable for candidates without direct insurance experience.

Work Arrangement
  • Work Setup: On-site
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am PHT fixed start time, should complete nine (9) hours work
