About the team
The Ad Ops team at Roku plays a crucial role in driving the success of Roku's monetization strategy. This team is responsible for excellence in execution for our Direct IO and Programmatic businesses. This team books ad campaigns, QAs creatives, prepares reporting, and manages Deal IDs, using 1st and 3rd party ad tech. We are a very collaborative team, working closely with our Client Services, Inventory, and Product partners to meet advertisers' needs, while also optimizing and streamlining internal processes.

Thus, we are looking for an Associate of Ad Operations to join our growing advertising operations team.
As an Ad Ops Associate, you will work closely with our Client Services, Inventory Management, and Product teams to make every campaign that runs on Roku a success. This requires being results-oriented, focusing on achieving critical goals as agreed, and identifying when an effort is not on target. And because success at Roku is a team effort, a great candidate will possess the ability to collaborate with colleagues across functions to solve problems and design solutions and is comfortable in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
This position will work on the Media & Entertainment business and report to the Manager of Ad Operations, located in Santa Monica. This role is based in our Boston, NYC, Chicago, or Santa Monica office.
"For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $77,000 and $117,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. What you'll be doing
- Use 3rd party tools to ensure creatives running in our ad servers are in compliance with our ad specifications
- Schedule both direct sold and programmatic campaigns in Roku’s 1st party OMS and 3rd party ad servers
- Validate creative running through our programmatic campaigns to identify violations to our acceptability guidelines
- Steward discussion with Client Services to ensure a seamless campaign launch
- Accountable for the management and QA of high profile and time sensitive campaign launches
- Build and launch custom ad experiences using proprietary toolsets and technical systems
- Ensure campaigns are being properly captured in our internal reporting tools
- Provide internal and external sales stakeholders with exceptional customer service and support
- Contribute to strategic projects and reporting that will help drive revenue growth for Roku
- Contribute ideas on how enhancements to our proprietary systems and tools can benefit productivity and effectiveness
- Proactively identify situations in which technical issues need to be escalated for investigation and take initiative to do so
We're excited if you have
- 2+ years of experience in digital ad operations or QA at a publisher, an ad tech company, ad agency, or ad network
- Experience with GAM and digital ad serving tools for video and display
- Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency
- Expert organization, attention to details and time management skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Inquisitive, proactive, and process-oriented person with experience adhering to processes and standards
- Ambitious self-starter who enjoys a good challenge and continuous learning
- Understanding of digital advertising campaign management including strategies, tactics, execution (ad serving and pixels) and reporting
- Ability to use analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot setup and delivery challenges
- Creative problem solver and ability to work effectively in an emerging technology company
