This position will be the Central region lead for the Small Group Aetna Funding Advantage (AFA) product. Senior leadership recognizes AFA as a critical growth and profit engine for the enterprise, with $2B+ of annual revenue (35% from the Central region).
· Collaborate with region leadership, sales, and UW partners to achieve membership and profitability goals
· Build holistic knowledge of market dynamics to ideate and recommend local initiatives, then integrate them with national AFA strategy
· Support semi-annual new business rate reviews and monthly renewal block check process
· Ad hoc projects outside of rate review cycle to deep dive into market-specific challenges and growth opportunities (past examples include area factor analysis, narrow network discount review, and group size factors)
· Work with the other Small Group region leads to identify and share best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree along with 3+ years related experience
Must have your ASA or FSA
Healthcare experience required
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Innovative mindset to help develop a winning strategy as level-funding landscape rapidly evolves
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse array of business partners
- Prior AFA or Level funding experience is helpful

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
