We are a global actuarial consulting practice working with clients across North America, South America, Asia, and elsewhere. Our work is varied and challenging but generally focused on construction of financial models and use of such models for financial planning, mergers and acquisition, embedded value, risk management, economic capital, principles-based valuation, product pricing, stochastic analysis, ALM, and GAAP and statutory valuation and forecasts.
The candidate should have excellent analytical, communication, time management, and organizational skills in addition to meeting the following key requirements:
Requirements:
- Sophomore or junior standing in actuarial science on track to complete an undergraduate degree
- High GPA
- Previous internship in related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Programming skills with one or more of R, Python, Java
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with or without supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner with a strong mathematical aptitude
- Aptitude for detail work
- Outgoing personality and self-motivated
- Available and willing to intern full-time for the Spring of 2026
Location:
This position is for an Actuarial Intern for the Life and Financial Services Practice based out of Milliman's Omaha office.
Compensation:
The salary range is $21 - $37 per hour, depending on relevant factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
