Milliman is seeking candidates to join our life insurance team in Indonesia.
Milliman is looking for talented and enthusiastic fresh graduates or candidates with less than a year experience in the industry to join our rapidly expanding life insurance team in Indonesia as an Actuarial Associate.
As a core individual within the team, you will support the development and successful delivery on a diverse range of projects across the South East Asian markets. This is likely to include work in mergers and acquisitions, modelling, pricing of new products, and valuation of life insurance companies, amongst others.
A strong focus will be placed on your ongoing professional development within an exciting and stimulating working environment.
Candidates should have the following skills and attributes:
- Graduate of a program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or other numerate degree subject with strong academic record. Good progress on actuarial exams would be a plus.
- Ability to analyse and apply creative problem-solving skills both independently and within a team.
- Self-motivated individual with a sense of intellectual curiosity, willingness, and ability to learn new things.
- Excellent communication in both English and Bahasa Indonesia as well as time management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and VBA and experience with actuarial software would be an extra value.
