Actuarial Analyst

Reporting to the Actuary, the Responsibilities are:

• Provide Actuarial support to both Life and Non-Life projects as may be requested
• Assist in developing tools and templates for reserves calculations, pricing exercise, Expected Credit Loss under IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 Cashflow modelling as requested by the Actuary
• Assist in the drafting valuation reports as may be requested
• Assist in the automation of internal processes to improve efficiency where applicable
• Assist in the development of tools to produce Management Information as may be requested
• Assist in the running of the Risk Management Framework and ORSA calculations and report drafting for statutory purposes
• Ensure that all compliance requirements are duly met before undertaking any assignments for clients
• Provide support in preparation and presentation materials for clients and internal stakeholders where applicable
• Gather and compile statistical data as may be requested from the Actuary
• Provide actuarial support and prepare relevant documents for regulatory filings.
• Assist to respond to queries from clients, auditors, regulator and internal colleagues.
• Assist in the development of new lines of business as may be requested by the Actuary
• Participate in marketing activities to promote Swan Actuarial Services Ltd.
• Assist the Actuary as may be requested on different lines of business
• Nurture and build relationships with clients and prospects

Essential qualifications, experience and expertise

• Holder of a degree in Actuarial Science
• Working experience in an actuarial position will be an advantage
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Python, R Studio
• Be results-oriented
• Be a team player
• Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
