We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Actuarial Analyst to join our Actuarial department. This role will support in delivering timely and accurate monthly valuation results and financial analyses. The position focuses on production of movement analyses, reserve calculations, and ad-hoc actuarial investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, a solid understanding of actuarial principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in actuarial analysis and valuation, specifically within life insurance industry.
- Progress towards actuarial certification is preferred, or a strong commitment to achieving certification.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and experience with actuarial modeling software or programming languages (e.g., Prophet, Excel VBA, R).
- Solid understanding of life insurance products and market practices.
- Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating initiative and ownership of tasks.
