Job Summary:
The Reinsurance Pricing Department of Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for an Actuarial Analyst I to join the International team in our Miami, Florida office.
This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Working closely with other actuaries and underwriters in support of our Latin America book of business

Performing transactional actuarial pricing analyses

Conducting lines of business studies and profitability reviews

Working closely with the Solutions team to develop and test new models related to reinsurance pricing, as well as improve existing models.

Work with other actuaries across the International branches to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
-
1-3 years of P&C actuarial pricing experience – large account or reinsurance pricing a plus.

Ideally has line of business experience in Latin America and/or Caribbean markets.

2-5 actuarial exams and pursuing credentialing in the Casualty Actuarial Society.

SQL, Python, and/or R experience preferred.

Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency required
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

A business-oriented focus (motivated, self-directed, organized, and analytical).

Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
