Provides actuarial support in the development, analysis, and review of insurance products, reserving practices, and risk modeling. Performs entry-level actuarial tasks under supervision to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and company standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in collecting, validating, and analyzing data for actuarial models.
• Support rate-making activities and development of pricing structures.
• Perform reserve calculations and assist in financial projections.
• Prepare standard actuarial reports and documentation for internal and regulatory use.
• Utilize actuarial software and statistical tools to perform predictive modeling and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with underwriters, finance, and product teams to support business decisions.
• Ensure work complies with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam is preferred.
• 0–2 years of actuarial work experience or internship experience in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with actuarial analysis tools such as SAS, R, or Python.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS
• At least one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exam completed or in progress.
• Membership in an actuarial professional body is a plus.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Data analysis and statistical modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of insurance principles and financial concepts.
• Proficiency in actuarial software and advanced Excel functions.
