Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Acquisition Support Manager that leads acquisition planning and execution support, including development of PWSs and IGCEs, evaluation of task order proposals, and oversight of task order execution, funding, and milestones.
****Contingent Upon Contract Award****
Responsibilities- Draft and refine acquisition documents, including Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and related artifacts.
- Develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and support cost/price reasonableness assessments.
- Support evaluation of task order proposals, including technical, management, and cost factors.
- Monitor task order execution, track funding allocations, and support real-time execution decisions.
- Support administrative management and lifecycle milestone reviews for ongoing contracts.
- Produce the monthly Acquisition Posture Report documenting progress on contracting actions.
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCIEducation / Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Acquisition, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in government or defense acquisition, contracts management, or program management.
- Strong knowledge of DoD/IC acquisition processes, FAR/DFARS, and task order management.
- Experience developing PWSs, IGCEs, and evaluation criteria for competitive procurements.
- Proven ability to track funding, execution status, and contract performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DAWIA/DAU or equivalent acquisition certifications (e.g., Contracting, Program Management, or Financial Management).
- Experience supporting R&D and production contracts in intelligence or advanced technology programs.
- Familiarity with NASIC, acquisition needs and processes.
- Experience with PPBE and integration of acquisition planning with budget processes.
