Position Summary

Credence has an immediate need for an Acquisition Logistics Manager (Conventional Munitions Enterprise) at the SME level to support HQ AFMC A4/10 at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. 

The Headquarters Air Force Material Command Directorate of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration (HQ AFMC/A4/10) has the AFMC mission responsibility to: shape the workforce and infrastructure to provide logistics, sustainment, and installation support for acquisition logistics, supply management, depot maintenance, and base-level logistics operations, and deliver responsive strategic facility and infrastructure oversight and over-arching direction for all Major Command (MAJCOM) security operations…resulting in war-winning expeditionary capabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

  • Assist with transformation analysis and evaluations, including identification of process gaps, risks, and vulnerabilities.
  • Support the conventional munitions Government lead in developing, updating, and maintaining enterprise process documentation for the Air Force munitions community to enable transformation and standardization of business processes.
  • Assist with development of an IT modernization strategy and implementation plan to support full FIAR compliance.
  • Provide support for HAF and MAJCOM conventional munitions strategies, including participation in process development IPTs for improvement of requirements and allocation determination, acquisition processes, maintenance practices, and supply chain management.
  • Assist with requirements definition and identify gaps in commonly used systems, including but not limited to Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS), Combat Ammunition System (CAS), Agile Munitions Support Tool (AMST), Requirements Management System (RMS), and Reliability Asset Monitoring/Tactical Munitions Reporting System (RAM/TMRS).
  • Recommend data profiling and data quality improvement solutions, as required.
  • Assist with standardizing business processes across the Air Force enterprise.
  • Provide analysis of internal and external enterprise business processes, policies, and organizational goals to identify gaps, redundancies, and inconsistencies, including analysis of current and future state documentation, review of existing business processes, and identification of best business practices and areas for improvement.
  • Identify modernization and/or transformational programs and initiatives with potential impact on process transformation.
  • Utilize and apply commercially accepted project management tools and applications in developing analytically based recommendations for Government consideration.

Requirements
  • Must have an active or current Secret security clearance (or higher), verifiable in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/ professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements
  • OR BA/BS degree, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements
  • OR fifteen (15) years of direct experience with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements.
  • Provide personnel experience with Air Force conventional munitions enterprise logistics operations, transformation analyses, and evaluation to support the munitions enterprise.
  • Possess and apply knowledge of supply chain data requirements and their relationships with other DoD munitions management systems.
  • Have experience with USAF munitions inventory management, munitions supply chain management, base and depot munitions supply and warehouse functions, USAF wholesale and retail IT systems, business case studies, operational research, and munitions maintenance, supply data, and IT analyses.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with exceptional and/or highly unique qualifications or expertise, typically recognized as an industry leader in each area of expertise.
  • Initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from project inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
  • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
  • Provide detailed analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges and issues.
  • Consult with clients to define needs or problems, supervise studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
