Our client is a public listed property development company and is looking for an experienced Account & Finance Manager to oversee Group finance, consolidation and financial reporting matters.
- Manage and oversee Group consolidation and financial reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts of subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely preparation of Group financial statements, Bursa and statutory reporting.
- Review intercompany balances, transactions and consolidation adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and other professional advisers.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare financial analysis and management reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies and finance processes across the Group.
- Provide accounting guidance to subsidiaries and resolve accounting and reporting issues.
- Supervise, coach and develop members of the finance team.
- Support management on corporate exercises, special projects and ad-hoc financial matters.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent is preferred.
- MIA membership is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with solid exposure to Group consolidation and financial reporting.
- Property development or construction industry experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MFRS, Malaysian statutory reporting requirements and internal controls.
- Experience in a public listed company and/or Bursa Malaysia reporting is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication and people management skills.
- Able to manage multiple subsidiaries and work effectively within tight reporting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/ERP systems.
Skills Required
