THE ROLE:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team and play a vital role in our mission. In this role, you’ll do more than manage transactions; you’ll be a key player ensuring the financial health that fuels our growth and allows us to serve our passionate communities. You will be responsible for the accuracy of our invoicing and collections, ensuring a seamless financial experience for our partners and clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• End-to-End Invoicing: Own the complete invoicing process by generating, verifying, and delivering accurate and timely invoices to our diverse range of clients and partners.

• Payment & Reconciliation: Process and apply customer payments (checks, credit cards, EFT/ACH) with precision, and perform regular A/R ledger reconciliations to resolve discrepancies swiftly.

• Client Collections & Communication: Proactively monitor account aging, manage collections with professionalism, and serve as a primary point of contact for all billing inquiries.

• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues by collaborating effectively with our sales, partnerships, and customer service teams.

• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze A/R aging reports, identifying trends and providing management with actionable insights to improve cash flow and financial operations.

• Process Improvement: Help maintain and improve our accounts receivable processes and ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP in a dynamic, evolving environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Required:

• 3+ years of dedicated experience in an accounts receivable or similar accounting role.

• A solid understanding of core accounting principles and the full A/R cycle.

• High proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to use functions like VLOOKUPs and pivot tables to analyze data.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to discuss financial matters clearly and professionally with both clients and internal teams.

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

BONUS POINTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite accounting software.

• Experience in a media, SaaS, or high-growth tech environment.
