We are looking for Accounts Receivable Process Manager for permanent position.

Metsä Group Services in Gdańsk is looking for Accounts Receivable Process Manager with strong Finance, AR process and SAP background.

Accounts Receivable department consists of 2 teams. Accounts Receivable Process Manager is direct supervisor for 2 Team Leaders who lead those 2 teams. Process Manager is member of Direct reports of General Manager and is therefor part of management team of the SSC. Main stakeholders for the position are General Manager, Process Owners, Credit Management, Group accounting, other Group Finance teams.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Ownership of the Accounts Receivable process and teams inside Metsä Group SSC
  • Ensure the necessary number of resources in daily operation to keep the target level of SLA
  • Planning ahead of annual required resources in terms of budgeting and following it up according to individual annual targets
  • Setting up realistic, but challenging targets for the department in terms of team targets, KPIs and OPIs to drive further development
  • Single point of contact for all Accounts Receivable services within Metsä Group community and among other stakeholders
  • Initiate and drive process development work in close co-operation with AR Process owner, Credit Management, Group accounting, Sales and Customer service
  • Managing and leading people within Accounts Receivable teams participating in daily operations
  • Creation, updating and approving of documents (process work instruction, process controls) and master data concepts to support the process
  • Actively collect feedback from customers to develop the operating model and our services to meet best their needs and beyond
  • Ensure that effective lines of communication are maintained at all levels, also outside Accounts Receivable department
  • Actively bring topics to the Management group of SSC to share best practices, improve the working conditions of our employees and develop the people, processes and services to our customers

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Leadership position experience
  • Project Management skills
  • Experienced working with SAP
  • Knowledge in AR processes and master data management
  • Advanced Business English
  • Relevant financial education, e.g. in accounting or finance
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and people skills
