  • Investigate and resolve billing disputes, short payments, unapplied cash, and account discrepancies in partnership with internal teams.
  • Post cash receipts accurately and timely, ensuring payments are properly applied and outstanding balances are maintained.
  • Create and maintain accurate customer records in the ERP system, including billing information, payment terms, and tax setup.
  • Support customer credit reviews and help enforce established credit and collection policies to maintain reasonable receivable balances.
  • Maintain detailed collection notes, customer correspondence, and account documentation to support consistent follow-up and accountability.
  • Prepare and review AR reconciliations, aging reports, and supporting documentation for month-end close.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5–8+ years of hands-on accounts receivable and collections experience, preferably in a multi-entity, multi-location, or decentralized organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to make collection calls, follow up persistently on overdue balances, resolve disputes, and drive timely customer payments.
  • Experience managing high-volume receivables, prioritizing collection efforts, and maintaining accurate records across multiple entities.
  • Experience with ERP systems required; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
