Accounts Receivable Analyst

What will YOU be doing for us? Responsible for completing all accounts receivable responsibilities ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide necessary support to others by researching and analyzing issues related to accounts receivable and invoicing. Provide assistance to other departmental staff members by completing projects or providing assistance in day to day responsibilities.

What will YOU be working on every day?

• Reconcile bank accounts on regular basis to ensure accuracy and resolve any outstanding issues.

• Ensure clients appropriately notified of funding needs and ensure accounts are properly funded to ensure timely payments for providers.

• Verify that all outgoing wires are successfully transmitted.

• Utilizing knowledge of invoicing and funding processes, resolve any remittance or provider payment questions and discrepancies in collaboration with other internal resources.

• Utilize reports from internal staff to create accurate and timely invoices for clients.

• Review all incoming payments for accuracy by matching and post to appropriate accounts.

• Maintain accounting system with detailed and accurate information.

• Provide analysis on receivable information as requested.

• Perform all monthly account reconciliation duties and escalate any potential issues to the Controller for resolution.

• Assist Controller with monthly financials by providing information and/or reports as necessary.

• Maintain all accounting files by timely and accurately filing all accounts receivable related documentation.

• Research, track, process, and follow-up on all 1099’s according to IRS requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to other individuals within the finance department to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist Controller with special projects.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?

• Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field

• Required Level of Experience

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in general accounting work including accounts receivable

• Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Intermediate knowledge of general computer software. (Excel, MS Word)

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals

  • Knowledge of an accounting software

  • Ability to remain organized with multiple interruptions

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with different individuals

• Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

  • Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software

The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.

Compensation Range:

$38,435.00 - $57,653.00

Compensation Midpoint:

$48,044.00
