As a Supervisor, Accounts Payable at ICON, you will oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

  • Supervising and managing the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, enhance processes, and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Implementing and monitoring internal controls to maintain compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Providing training and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyzing accounts payable metrics and reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Your Profile:

You will have solid accounting and financial operations experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in accounts payable or financial operations, preferably within a corporate or clinical research environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving process improvements.
  • Experience leading and developing team members.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with a solid understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
