Your Role
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for India, to join our growing Finance team in India. This position will help further build up a cohesive accounting team that is able to function independently and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be a competent and proactive finance professional with strong regards for completeness and accuracy.
What You Will Do
Audit, accurately code and enter supplier invoices in Deltek Vision Software
Audit and process employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with Gensler policies and procedures
Prepare the supplier payment and employee expense reimbursement
Accrue, track, and pay consultant invoices
Prepare journal entries and other related tasks to assist in month end close process including research general ledger issues.
Month-end Reconciliation (Reconcile various G/L accounts)
Provide support to regional offices regarding Accounts Payable issues
Pull back-up as requested
Timely application of all cash receipts
Process, and monitor correcting, late, and missing timecards
Provide support to regional offices regarding Accounts Payable issues
Assist with miscellaneous projects as requested
Self-motivated and proactive with ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
Ability to meet tight and various deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, managers, technical staff, and others from different cultures/ levels both internal and external to the firm
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively

Your Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounts payable (multinational companies a plus)
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accountancy
Strong understanding of India accounting standards, banking and tax laws recommended
Experience in global or multi-currency accounting environment
Experience in A/E/C or professional services industry is desirable
Fluent in English and Hindi with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage different personality types
Solid knowledge of MS Office suite
Experience in Deltek Vision accounting software desirable
