Position Summary:

Med Resources, the premier provider of Respiratory and Home Medical Equipment in the Midwest and Georgia, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verify invoice details, approvals, and supporting documentation
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
