Job Description

Our dynamic Accounting team in Tallinn is looking for a motivated and ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist to join us. This is not just another AP role — you’ll own critical processes, drive improvements, and help shape how our finance operations scale globally in a fast-growing fintech.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, from invoice intake and coding to reconciliation and timely resolution of discrepancies.

  • Verify vendor master data and bank details to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk control.

  • Manage and update approval workflows across multiple entities in line with company policies.

  • Support month-end and year-end close through AP reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.

  • Provide accurate documentation and support for internal and external audits.

  • Contribute to system and process improvements, including automation projects, testing, and training.

  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • A solid understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations; an accounting qualification or degree is an advantage.

  • Experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role — fintech or fast-growth company experience is a plus.

  • Proficient in ERP and accounting systems such as SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

  • Advanced spreadsheet skills including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, enabling accurate data analysis and reporting.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain financial processes clearly.

  • A proactive, hands-on mindset — you take ownership, solve problems, and follow through.

  • Ability to work independently and also thrive as part of a collaborative team.

  • High attention to detail paired with a drive to “get things done.”

  • Salary: €2200 - €2700 gross monthly

  • Numerous great benefits in our Tallinn office
