Accounts Executive

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Accounts Executive, you will support the Finance function by providing backup coverage for Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payments, while contributing to month-end reporting and compliance requirements. The role also supports finance process automation, reporting, and data analysis using digital and AI tools to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive finance professional with strong analytical skills, a solid accounting foundation, and a keen interest in technology-driven process improvement.
This position is based in Dubai and reports to the Assistant Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable (AP) activities during staff leave, absence, or peak workload periods. This includes Payments, RM and non- RM booking tasks. 
• Assist in processing supplier payments. 
• Assist in supplier reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing in line with audit and internal control requirements.
• Support month-end closing, reporting, and account reconciliation activities.
• Prepare finance reports, dashboards, and analyses using AI and digital tools.
• Support automation of reports and finance processes using Excel, Power BI, Copilot, and similar tools.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Assist with ad-hoc finance, reporting, compliance, and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a professional finance qualification such as ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a keen interest in AI, automation, and digital tools.
• Basic understanding of accounting, accounts payable, and financial reporting processes.
