We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting & Tax Assistant to join our Finance Department at our offices located in Elefsina.

As an Accounting & Tax Assistant you will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax filings (VAT, income tax, withholding taxes, etc.).
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the preparation of corporate income tax returns and tax provisions.
  • Reconcile tax accounts and ensure proper documentation and audit trail.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and public authorities when required.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and accounting databases.
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Team as required.

Requirements
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles & local tax legislation (accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Google Workspace.
  • Experience with accounting software/ERP systems will be considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance-related role.
