Midwestern Wheels, Inc., a proud licensee of Avis Budget Group, is seeking a self-motivated Accounting Support Specialist to join our Accounting Department. Based in Appleton, WI, we are a locally owned, family-operated company with over 65 years of success. In this role, you will support the Accounting Department with a variety of administrative and financial support functions, including:
- Reconcile and record daily, weekly, and monthly accounts receivable activity
- Prepare month-end accounts receivable reports and related documentation
- Research and respond to customer credit card chargeback inquiries
- Maintain accurate records, files, and supporting documentation
- Generate, update, and manage Excel-based reports, spreadsheets, and data tracking tools
- Assist with internal communications, information requests, and follow-up activities
- Work independently while meeting departmental goals, deadlines, and quality standards
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and reporting
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Previous accounting support, accounts receivable, or administrative experience preferred

- Starting wage of $24 per hour, with consideration for experience
