This Accounting Supervisor will support the Navista business. Ideal candidate will be located in the Greater Nashville, TN Area with the ability to work a hybrid schedule.

What Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages company’s general ledger activity
  • Supervises, trains, and develops senior and staff level accounting personnel
  • Prepares and presents performance evaluations of direct reports
  • Reviews monthly journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations as required to accurately close the month.
  • Reviews detailed monthly actual to budget variance reports to support management in the review of the monthly operating performance.
  • Reviews monthly reports for key indicators and statistics.
  • Assists, as needed with financial information requests and questions.
  • Participates in development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections, and quarterly forecasts for certain centers
  • Works directly with Center Leaders/Operations
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality to ensure that privileged and/or proprietary information is adequately safeguarded.
  • Ensures that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of corporate and / or public accounting experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Management or supervisory experience strongly preferred, review experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • CPA preferred

Anticipated salary range: $80,900-$115,500
