Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee the team’s financial close process while providing regular status updates, ensuring timely task completion, and collaboration with leadership to address challenges and progress.

  • Prepare and deliver monthly presentations highlighting key revenue trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.

  • Think creatively and proactively to drive innovation and develop solutions to improve processes.

  • Tackle unusual or unexpected issues with strategic and forward-thinking approaches.

  • Lead, coach, and oversee senior and staff level accounting team members. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Develop and refine new analytical approaches to supporting evolving team and business needs.

  • Act as the point of contact with cross-functional teams, including Revenue Cycle Management, Payor Engagement, and Revenue Integrity to streamline processes and resolve issues.

  • Manage and organize the team to gather and prepare documentation required for external financial audits.

  • Partner with the FP&A team to help interpret monthly financial results and to ensure accurate forecasting of revenue.

Compensation:  $95,000 - $110,000/annually

Location: Remote

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related subject; CPA or MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (experience in healthcare is a plus)

  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams effectively in a high-growth and remote environment.

  • Proficient working with large, complex data sets and utilizing tools like Excel and PowerBi.

  • Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ASC 606.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire for professional growth.

  • Exceptional project management skills to meet deadlines.

  • Adaptability, responsiveness to change, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
