BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as Accounting Supervisor in our office in Orsenigo, Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accounting
- Manage & review monthly US Gaap closing activities
- Treasury cash forecast management
- Perform statutory tax reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statement for US
- Perform accounting reporting and analytical review
- Prepare statutory annual accounts in ItalianGaap
- Liaise with auditors & lead financial statements audit
- Actively participate in the SAP transition project
- Demonstrate strong understanding of financial accounting systems
- Report issues/key transactions to site controller and group accounting team
- Drive continuous improvement in processes
- Lead the accounting team
Education & Experience:
- Very strong experience in accounting/finance
- Master Degree in Accounting/Management/Finance
- Previous experience working for an international company and preparation of monthly financial statement reporting for US
- Team management experience with strong communication and leadership skills
- Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Expertise in SAP ERP
- Experience in SOX compliance implementation and internal controls
- Proven track record of statutory and tax reporting preparation;
- Expertise in Treasury and Cash Forecast management;
- Fluent in English and Italian
